Must be an Oregon thing.
In my state if you refuse a breathalyzer test, you're automatically charged with DUI.
Yes, the drawing blood involuntarily thing is quite invasive. I think I'd rather just be charged.
in oregon, during the 4th of july weekend, troopers will be conducting checkpoints to see if someone has been drinking.
if someone refuses a breath test, they will be forced to have their blood extracted from them.. what do you think of this?.

im really channeling my inner blondie with my observation and critiques of these new watchtower videos.
something about them really turns my stomach.
Watched the whole thing with my wife evidently just before it got pulled. . .
I guess the thing we both noticed was the absence of any "kingdom message." I mean, here the guy kills his kid brother and. . .. . . where's the mention of the New System and resurrection? Completely absent. Instead he tells his son that he was named after him to remind him of his mistake.
So the message of this video is simply: reject careers, reject money, reject worldly people, reject science, reject gay marriage(?); embrace family worship, pioneer, sell yer house, quit your job and if you do all this. . . . You'll be a Jehovahs Witness.
I really got the impression that they don't even believe their own bullshit about a paradise earth etc. They just want to keep people "in."
yay for me!.
please take a minute to visit my blog and leave your comments: benpogge.blogspot.com.
have a good one!.
Excellent!
i never believed in evolution as i thought it didn't make sense and that what was proposed was simply impossible.
how could an environment alter an organism's dna?
as we can see however, bacteria cannot become resistance to antibiotics.
99.9% of people who "believe in" gravity don't understand it either.

Great review WINGCOMMANDER.
Can't believe they got Paul Giamatti to play the dad!
its amazing that they preach that the world is about to come to an end so soon but they won't spend a dime of their own money to get the message out.. i mean think about it, a couple years back a california preacher with less than 100k followers and about 100 millions dollars was able to get his message out that the world was coming to an end in 2012 and people heard about his message globally.
the org on the other hand sold over a billion dollars worth of real estate and hasn't spent a dime to get its message out.
all the halls were built with the local brothers contributions same can be said of circuit assembly and branch sites.
"More will be pioneering as soon as it is acceptable to leave a tract on top of the bar when you have a few pints of beer."
I believe the development of a new "coaster tract" is in full swing.
great news.

otwo: you don't need to know anything about me.
Nice!
heard from a reliable source that this was part of friday's program.
they even interviewed a "former gay man" who "kicked the gay habit".. evidently kicking the "gay habit" is difficult, not unlike quitting smoking or avoiding sugary snacks.
the persons who related this to me found the whole thing to be laughable at best, but honestly seemed quite disturbed by it (which is good!
QUENDI Beautifully spoken indeed.
article is basicqlly about families where a spouse is working away from home for an extended period, etc...a foot note says basically that some studies have shown that working away from home can cause serious consequences, such as infidelity, homosexuality, or incest.
.
pull it up on jw.org...that is what it says.
Well, if you do work far from home and end up "turning homosexual" . . . . there is hope.
According to the recent IC, you too can "kick the gay habit":

No worries!
